Naomi Haile Girma (born June 14, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for San Diego Wave in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She was the #1 pick of the 2022 NWSL Draft. Girma has represented the United States on the under-17, under-19 and under-20 national teams and was named U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year in 2020. In 2019, she captained the Stanford Cardinal to win the Women's College Cup.
