Bio
James Alfred Connolly (born 2 November 2001) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a central defender for EFL League Two club Morecambe on loan from EFL League One club Bristol Rovers and the Wales under-21 national football team. After playing youth football with Blackburn Rovers, Connolly began his career with Cardiff City. On 8 January 2022, Connolly joined League Two side Bristol Rovers on loan for the remainder of the 2021–22 season. He made his senior debut later that day in a 2–1 FA Cup Third Round defeat to Peterborough United.
