Cole Caufield (born January 2, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey right winger for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 15th overall by the Canadiens in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Caufield holds the USA Hockey National Team Development Program's all-time record for goals. Caufield played for the University of Wisconsin-Madison before signing with Montreal in late March 2021. Caufield was the recipient of the 2021 Hobey Baker Award, given to the top National Collegiate Athletic Association men's ice hockey player.
