Dustin Glenn Poirier (born January 19, 1989) is an American professional mixed martial artist and philanthropist. He currently fights in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is a former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion. Poirier has been competing professionally since 2009, and he has also competed in the WEC. He also holds notable victories over fighters such as Max Holloway (2x), Eddie Alvarez, Justin Gaethje, Anthony Pettis, Dan Hooker, and the greatest win of his career is over Conor McGregor. As of December 22, 2020, he is #2 in the UFC lightweight rankings and #7 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.
