Timur Renatovich Timerzyanov born 31 January 1987 is a Russian rallycross driver, currently competing in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. Timur Timerzyanov made his racing debut after choosing motorsport over a burgeoning career in gymnastics, the Russian switching first to karting before pursuing rallycross as his chosen discipline. Success came quickly for Timerzyanov with his first European title coming in the Super1600 category in 2010 prior to a move into the Supercar category the following year. One of the most experienced rallycross drivers on the grid, Timerzyanov continued to notch up podiums during stints with Namus OMSE (2015), MJP Team Austria (2016) and Team STARD (2017) but embarked on a fresh challenge with the GRX TANECO outfit in 2018, driving a Hyundai i20 alongside Niclas Gronholm and finishing 10th in the championship.
