Matthew Robert Boyd (born February 2, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners. Boyd pitched for Oregon State University before being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays, and played three seasons in their minor league organization before earning a promotion to MLB. Boyd made his MLB debut June 27, 2015, for the Toronto Blue Jays.
