Melvin Ingram III (born April 26, 1989) is an American football defensive end for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of South Carolina, and earned All-American honors. He was selected by the Chargers in the first round with the 18th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft.
