Kevin Belingon (born October 30, 1987) nicknamed "The Silencer" is a Filipino mixed martial artist and the ONE Championship reigning Bantamweight Champion. He is the former Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) Flyweight Champion and has competed in several Asian based MMA Promotions. Kevin Belingon hails from Kiangan, Ifugao, Philippines. In his early childhood he idolized and admired movie icon Bruce Lee, which then inspired him to practice martial arts. Belingon pursued his passion in martial arts at the age of 17 and was eventually awarded a wushu scholarship to the University of the Cordilleras. He had success in wushu competition, becoming a Philippines national champion. He made his professional debut in 2007 and won his first nine bouts, capturing a flyweight title in the process after beating opponents from all across Asia. ONE Championship, signed Belingon in 2012. “The Silencer” put on a series of tremendous performances in the ONE cage, including several highlight reel finishes, to earn a shot at ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes’ title in early 2016. After falling to the Brazilian legend, Belingon worked on plugging all the holes in his game and matured as a martial artist. The Filipino knockout artist has won every single bout since, defeating several top contenders in a row to capture the ONE Interim Bantamweight World Title, and defeating Fernandes in an epic rematch to be crowned the undisputed king of the division.
